II型平台超新星2004dj的早期Spitzer观测

我们展示了利用Spitzer空间望远镜对邻近的II型P超新星SN 2004dj在89至129天历元的中红外观测。我们获得了除SN 1987A之外任何超新星的首次中红外光谱。观测到一条显著的[NiII] 6.64微米线，由此我们推断稳定镍的质量至少为2.2×10⁻⁴ M☉。我们还观测到了CO基频带的红翼。我们将我们的发现与可能的前身星联系起来，倾向于一颗演化恒星，最可能是红超巨星，其可能的前身星初始质量约为10至15 M☉。
