我们讨论了 Parkes 对水星、金星、火星、土星和天王星无线电辐射的早期观测。利用灵敏的 Parkes 11 cm 系统，我们探测到了水星夜间出乎意料的高温，这是水星实际上相对于太阳自转的第一个（但当时未被识别的）线索，同时也探测到了来自天王星的微弱无线电辐射。我们还讨论了 PKS 1934-63 的反常谱，这是首个被确认的 GPS 源。
