GRB 980329光学对应物的早期检测

摘要
我们报告对GRB 980329误差盒的光学观测，这是GRB 980329光学瞬时现象第二早期的检测。我们在29.89 March测得R = 23.7 ± 0.5 mag，与Palazzi等人于29.99 March报告的R = 23.6 ± 0.2 mag一致。基于光曲线的外推，我们断言GRB 980329宿主星系的R波段星等应在26.8 mag < R < 29 mag之间。我们还讨论了与GRB 970111的相似性。
