摘要
进行了一系列 MARS15 模拟，以验证并指导 E906-SeaQuest 谱仪首个磁铁周围及其上游靶区附近的钢和混凝土屏蔽层设计。本文总结了最后一轮模拟的结果。该磁铁为实心铁偶极磁铁，兼具束流收集器和缪子分析磁铁的功能。E906-SeaQuest 谱仪旨在测量由 FNAL 120-GeV 主注入器质子束与各类靶相互作用产生的前向高能缪子。
