用于南极脉冲瞬变天线(ANITA)的动态可调陷波滤波器

摘要

南极脉冲瞬变天线(ANITA)是NASA长期气球实验,主要目标是通过Askaryan效应探测超高能(>1018\mboxeV>10^{18}\,\mbox{eV})中微子。第四次ANITA任务ANITA-IV最近于2016年12月2日至29日飞行。首次部署了可调通用滤波前端(TUFF)板,用于减轻窄带人为噪声,具有可调、可切换的陷波滤波器。TUFF板还进行了约45 dB的第二级放大,将μ\mboxVlevel\sim\,\mu\mbox{V-level}射频(RF)信号提升到\sim mV级以供数字化,并通过偏置三通为第一级天线安装放大器供电。ANITA-IV中信号处理的另一个主要变化是在触发系统中恢复了先前在ANITA-I中部署的9090^{\circ}混合器,尽管本文重点关注TUFF板。在ANITA-IV任务期间,TUFF板在整个飞行中成功运行。由于在触发决策前减少了窄带人为噪声,它们使ANITA-IV的平均总仪器存活时间比ANITA-III提高了2.8倍。
