许多靠近的恒星周围都有明亮的冷尘埃环或盘。我们的计算表明，这些尘埃盘和环是最近行星形成的标志。明亮的环是由于与行星形成相关的尘埃吸收和散射中心恒星的光造成的。这些计算解释了迄今为止观察到的环，并预测所有新生太阳系都有尘埃环。
