DustKING——故事续篇：NGC628中的尘埃消光

尘埃消光是一个关键但高度不确定的参数，它妨碍了星系内禀性质（如恒星质量、恒星形成率和恒星形成历史）的确定。尘埃消光律的形状在不同星系之间乃至同一星系内部都不期望是均匀的。我们的DustKING项目于2016年首届BINA研讨会上提出，旨在研究近邻星系中尘埃消光曲线的变化。在2018年第二届BINA研讨会上，我展示了我们对旋涡星系NGC628试点研究的结果。我们发现该星系的平均消光律以类似银河系的凸起和陡峭的UV斜率为特征。此外，我们观测到星系内部有趣的变化：高区域呈现较平缓的消光曲线。最后，我们讨论了我们的工作如何能从印度AstroSat任务的UVIT所获取数据受益。
