高红移宇宙中尘埃渗透形态

来自哈勃深场(HDF)北和南的图像显示出大比例的尘埃覆盖的高红移星系,其外观超出传统分类系统。这些对象的本质尚未完全理解。由于HDF优先抽样restframe UV光,HDF形态并非尘埃或'mask'渗透。高红移星系在近红外restframe下的外观仍是 New Millennium 的挑战。下一代太空望远镜(NGST)可能常规提供此类图像。在本稿件中,我们定量确定了高红移星系(如NGC 922)在其近红外restframe中的尘埃渗透结构。我们展示,此类光学异常星体可使用Block和Puerari(1999)以及Buta和Block(2001)的尘埃渗透 z ~ 0 模板进行分类。
