紧凑行星星云中的尘埃消光

摘要
通过比较射电自由电子发射和氢复合线图像，研究尘埃消光对行星星云（PN）形貌偏离轴对称性的影响。利用 HST 和 VLA 的高分辨率（~0.1弧秒）H-alpha 和射电图像图，推导出五个紧凑 PN 的消光图。随后采用包括尘埃消光效应的椭球形壳 ionization 模型，对这些消光图进行分析，以推断星云的固有结构和天际定向。该方法对 PN 的形貌结构进行量化分析，代表了对 PN 形貌类型的定性分类的一步跨越。
