PSR B0950+08 是一颗明亮的非回收脉冲星,据报其单脉冲 fluency 变异性很大。基于两个相距甚远的频率(55 MHz 的 NenuFAR 与 1.4 GHz 的 Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope)的观测,我们重新审视了这些单脉冲的性质。我们得出结论:它们更类似于普通的射电辐射脉冲,而非仅少数脉冲星中观测到的一种特殊短而亮的巨脉冲(Giant Pulses)。我们认为,沿该邻近脉冲星视线方向星际介质性质的时间变化,即衍射闪烁去相关带宽的涨落尺寸,对观测到的单脉冲 fluency 变异性有重要贡献。我们进一步展示了低频单脉冲谱中类似快速射电暴(FRBs)中“悲伤长号”的有趣结构;尽管对 PSR B0950+08 而言,向上的频率漂移也常规出现。我们用半径-频率映射解释这些谱特征,类似于 Wang 等人(2019)为 FRBs 发展的模型。最后,我们推测一般脉冲星群体的微秒级 fluency 变异性仍知之甚少,进一步研究或带来关于 FRBs 本质的重要线索。
