Double Chooz 实验旨在利用 Chooz 核电站产生的中微子来寻找中微子混合角 theta13。该实验依赖于在两个不同位置（即所谓的远探测器和近探测器）进行的中微子通量测量，尽管第一阶段仅运行远探测器。远探测器的调试于 2011 年 1 月开始，预计在 2011 年夏季将获得首批结果，从而改进当前对 theta13 的限制。本文介绍了 Double Chooz 实验的现状。
