利用空心阴极灯对亚稳态Sr原子进行无多普勒光谱研究

摘要

我们报道了利用空心阴极灯(HCL)对亚稳态Sr原子进行无多普勒光谱研究的演示。我们采用定制的Sr HCL,其中充有0.5-Torr Ne和0.5-Torr Xe的混合缓冲气体,以抑制速度改变碰撞并增加所有(5s5p)3PJ(J=0, 1, 2)(5s5p){}^3P_J(J=0,\ 1,\ 2)亚稳态的布居数。我们对(5s5p)3P0(5s6s)3S1(5s5p){}^3P_0-(5s6s){}^3S_1(5s5p)3P1(5s6s)3S1(5s5p){}^3P_1-(5s6s){}^3S_1(5s5p)3P2(5s5d)3D2(5s5p){}^3P_2-(5s5d){}^3D_2(5s5p)3P2(5s5d)3D3(5s5p){}^3P_2-(5s5d){}^3D_3跃迁进行了频率调制光谱测量,获得了足以用于激光频率稳定的信噪比。我们还观测到了87Sr^{87}\mathrm{Sr}(5s5p)3P2(5s5d)3D3(5s5p){}^3P_2-(5s5d){}^3D_3超精细跃迁。该方法将极大促进Sr的激光冷却。
