区分高频准周期振荡的斑点模型与环模型

摘要

在高频准周期振荡(HF QPOs)的背景下,我们进一步探讨了在 Schwarzschild 时空中最内稳定圆轨道附近沿准椭圆轨迹运动的热点所产生的可观测信号的外观。我们研究的目的是揭示 Fourier 功率谱密度的可观测特征能否帮助我们区分两种竞争模型,即吸积环表面明亮斑点轨道运行的设想与环本身内禀振荡的情景。我们考虑了现有天文台(以 Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer, RXTE 为代表)的探测能力,同时也考虑了拟议中的未来仪器(以 Large Observatory for X-ray Timing, LOFT 为代表)。
