三维面心格局失调磁性MnSn(OH)$_6$中的无序基态

摘要
面心立方(fcc)磁亚格局中的失调磁性一直未得到充分探索,但潜在巨大发展前景。本文报道了-位空位双羟基钙钛矿 MnSn(OH)的晶体结构、磁性及热力学性质。尽管Mn moments之间占据优势抗磁相互作用(由负Curie-Weiss温度表明),但向350mK的温度下尚无明确的热力学相变,意味着无长程磁有序。然而,在1.6K处比热呈现宽广峰,暗示短程关联存在。中子衍射在低温下确认了三维抗磁关联的存在,表现为带有相关长度 Å 和磁相位向量 以及 于20mK时的散布磁散射。
