摘要
我们基于大型地下氙(LUX)实验 2013 年与 2014-16 年运行的标定数据,对液/气氙时间投影室中的电子反冲与核反冲甄别进行了全面分析。我们观察到电荷-光信号甄别随事件能量增加而显著增强。对于 S1 = 120 个探测光子的事件(即相当于 100 keV 的核反冲能量),在 50% 核反冲信号接受度下,我们观测到电子反冲本底接受度 。我们还观察到甄别能力对电场有轻微依赖,在本研究探索的电场范围(50-500 V/cm)内于约 300 V/cm 处达到峰值。在 S1 = 1-80 phd 的 WIMP 搜索区域,我们观测到的最小电子反冲泄漏为 ,其对应于 240-290 V/cm 的漂移场。利用脉冲形状甄别改进了我们的结果,并且我们发现,在低能量和低场下,本底泄漏额外降低了最多 3 倍。我们开发了复合涨落的实证模型,当其与 Noble Element Scintillation Technique(NEST)模拟包一同使用时,能正确再现电子反冲数据的偏度。我们利用此更新后的模拟研究了电子反冲带的宽度,发现其主要贡献来自电子-离子复合涨落,其后按贡献大小依次为 S1 信号涨落、S2 信号涨落,以及给定能量沉积中产生的总量子数涨落。
