第谷超新星遗迹的TeV伽马射线辐射的发现

摘要
我们报告了从Ia型超新星遗迹(SNR) G120.1+1.4(即第谷超新星遗迹)发现TeV伽马射线辐射。2008-2010年期间利用VERITAS地面伽马射线天文台进行的观测显示,来自该遗迹方向存在微弱辐射,与位于(J2000)的点源位置相符。VERITAS测量的TeV光子谱可用幂律描述,其中, cmsTeV。1 TeV以上的积分通量约为稳态蟹状星云在相同能量以上发射的0.9%,使其成为TeV伽马射线中探测到的最弱源之一。我们提出了能够描述数据的轻子和强子模型。这些模型中允许的最低磁场约为G,这可以解释为磁场放大的证据。
