利用AGILE发现新的伽马射线脉冲星

利用Astrorivelatore Gamma ad Immagini LEggero (AGILE)卫星在近一年(2007年7月至2008年6月)内收集的伽马射线数据,我们搜索了来自35颗潜在有趣射电脉冲星的脉冲信号,这些脉冲星按照排序,并且有同期或近期的射电数据可用。AGILE通过时间分析和空间分析,以高置信度探测到了三颗新的顶级邻近且类似Vela的脉冲星。在这些新发现的脉冲星中,我们发现了一些具有极高旋转能量损失的脉冲星,例如磁场超过10^13高斯的引人注目的PSR B1509-58,以及PSR J2229+6114,它为先前未识别的EGRET源3EG 2227+6122提供了可靠的识别。此外,在球状星团M28中的强大毫秒脉冲星B1821-24,在部分观测期间被探测到。其他四个有希望的伽马射线脉冲星候选体,其中包括年龄超过100万年的著名J2043+2740,仅在时间分析中显示出可能的探测,有待确认。
