发现局域化的超额 10-TeV 宇宙射线区域

摘要

对 7 年 Milagro 数据在 10 度角尺度上的分析发现了两个起源未知的局域化超额区域,其显著性超过 12 sigma。这两个区域均以高置信度与伽马射线发射不一致。其中一个区域的能谱与各向同性宇宙射线通量在 4.6 sigma 水平上不同,且与具有指数截断的硬谱质子一致,最显著的超额出现在~10 TeV 处。我们探讨了这些超额的可能成因,但未找到令人信服的解释。
