kagome磁体FeGe中电荷序及其对应边缘态的发现

摘要

kagome材料常承载奇异量子相,包括自旋液体、Chern能隙、电荷序与超导。现有的kagome电荷序扫描显微研究仅限于非kagome表面层。本文中我们隧穿进入FeGe的kagome晶格以揭示电荷序的特征。我们的谱学成像在磁性kagome晶格中辨识出2x2电荷序,类似于在kagome超导体中所发现的。跨单位晶胞高度台阶的自旋映射表明,该电荷序源自具有反铁磁堆叠序的自旋极化电子。我们进一步揭示了反铁磁性与电荷序各向异性之间的关联,凸显了电荷序不同寻常的磁耦合。最后,我们在电荷序能隙内探测到显著的边缘态,其对于kagome晶格边缘的不规则形状具有鲁棒性。我们结合理论上考虑的kagome电荷序的拓扑特征(包括轨道磁性与体-边界对应)讨论了我们的结果。
