在HIP65426周围发现一颗温暖的尘埃巨行星

SHINE计划是一项针对600颗年轻邻近恒星的大型高对比度近红外巡天。其旨在利用VLT/SPHERE前所未有的高对比度和高角分辨率成像能力搜寻并表征新行星系统。它还试图对大轨道巨行星族群的出现率和轨道性质施加统计约束,作为宿主恒星质量和年龄的函数,以检验行星形成理论。我们使用SPHERE的IRDIS双波段成像仪和IFS积分视场光谱仪获取年轻A2星HIP65426的高对比度日冕仪差分近红外图像和光谱。该星是约17 Myr古老的Lower Centaurus-Crux星协的成员。在距恒星830 mas(投影92 au)处,我们探测到一个暗弱红色伴星。多历元观测确认它与HIP65426具有共同自行。利用IFS和IRDIS在0.95至2.2um间提取的谱测光测量表明其具有年轻低表面重力L5-L7矮星特征的温暖尘埃大气。热启动演化模型预言的光度与一颗6-12 MJup、Teff=1300-1600 K且R=1.5 RJup的巨行星一致。最后,与Exo-REM和PHOENIX BT-Settl合成大气模型的比较给出了一致的有效温度,但表面重力解略高,为log(g)=4.0-5.0,半径更小(1.0-1.3 RJup)。鉴于其物理和光谱性质,HIP65426b在目前已知成像行星中按年龄、质量和光谱型占据相当独特的地位。它代表了一个特别有趣的案例,可用于研究云作为大气中粒子大小、成分和位置的函数存在的情况,寻找非平衡化学的印记,并最终检验行星形成与演化理论。
