钯中顺磁振子的直接观测

摘要
我们报告了对近铁磁性元素钯中自旋涨落的一项非弹性中子散射研究。高达 128 meV 的色散过阻尼集体磁激发或“顺磁振子”被观测到。我们利用 Moriya-Lonzarich 型自旋涨落模型分析了我们的结果，并估算了自旋涨落对低温热容的贡献。尽管顺磁振子激发相对较强，但其弛豫率很大。这导致了对低温电子比热的微小贡献。
