量子临界点附近集体电核模的直接观测

摘要
我们利用微波谱学直接测量了量子伊辛磁体 LiHoF 的低能激发模。我们发现一组集体电核模，而非单一电子模，其中自旋- 伊辛电子自旋与自旋- 钬核自旋浴杂化。即使在存在无序的情况下，最低能的电核模在接近量子临界点时发生软化。这种软化被纵向磁场迅速淬灭。类似的电核结构应存在于其他基于自旋的量子伊辛系统中。
