HD 106906 行星系统中非对称碎屑盘的直接成像

摘要

我们展示了利用 Gemini/GPI 在红外波段和 HST/ACS 在光学波段对 HD 106906 碎屑盘的首次散射光探测。HD 106906 是 Sco-Cen 星协中一颗年龄为 13 Myr 的 F5V 型恒星,伴有一颗先前探测到的行星质量候选体 HD 106906b,其在投影上距主星 650 AU。我们的观测揭示了一个近边缘朝向的碎屑盘,其具有半径约 50 AU 的中央清空区,外缘延伸大于 500 AU。HST 数据显示外区域高度不对称,类似于在 HD 15115 碎屑盘中所见的“针状”形态。该行星候选体的方位角偏离主星碎屑盘的位置角约 21°,强烈暗示其与系统非共面。我们推测 HD 106906b 可能动态地参与了主星盘的扰动,并探究是否存在围绕行星的尘埃盘或云的证据,该尘埃盘或云可能是原初的或从主星捕获的。我们表明,HD 106906b 现有的光学性质和近红外颜色均微弱地与此可能性一致,这激励未来工作去检验行星周围尘埃的观测特征。
