直空芯光波导中周期性强度调制的直接实验观测

摘要
我们报道了在空芯波导中传播的激光脉冲周期性强度调制的直接观测。在充气毛细管内产生了一系列等间距的等离子体火花。这种效应可以通过不同光纤模式的拍频来解释,这些模式是通过控制毛细管入口处焦斑尺寸来激发的。与人工调制波导结构相比,我们提出的方法代表了一种更简单、更灵活的非线性光学频率转换准相位匹配方案。
