费米伽马射线空间望远镜搭载的大视场望远镜 (LAT) 探测到的大部分天体伽马射线起源于星际介质,即高能宇宙射线与星际核子和光子相互作用时产生。传统的点源和延展源研究依赖于对这种弥漫辐射的建模以实现精确表征。本文描述了银河系星际辐射模型 (GIEM) 的开发,该模型已被 LAT 合作组采纳为标准模型并公开可用。该模型基于银河系中心环带中的星际气体柱密度图与银河系内产生的逆康普顿辐射图的线性组合。我们还在 GIEM 中包含了大尺度结构,如环 I 和费米气泡。测量的气体发射率谱证实,宇宙射线质子密度在距银河系中心超过 5 kpc 处随银河系中心距离的增加而减小。测量结果还表明质子谱随银河系中心距离的增加而变软。我们观察到费米气泡的边界在纬度低于 20 度时形状类似于悬链线,并观察到向其底部增强的辐射,该辐射向北和南银纬方向延伸,位于距银河系中心 4 度范围内。
