CERN NA62实验的Kaon标记系统研制

摘要

CERN的NA62实验旨在精确测量超稀有衰变K+π+ννK^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{+}\nu\overline{\nu},并依赖于一个微分切伦科夫探测器(KTAG)在750 MHz未分离强子束中以50 MHz平均速率识别带电kaon。NA62对101110^{-11}量级K衰变分支比(BR)的实验灵敏度要求KTAG的时间分辨率优于100 ps,效率优于95%,且kaon样本的污染小于10410^{-4}。该探测器的原型版本在2012年首次NA62技术运行期间进行了测试,其中达到了100 ps的要求分辨率,并演示了光收集系统与电子学的必要功能。
