为 CANGAROO-III 实验开发了用于观测能量范围为 至 eV 级伽马射线诱导空气喷流的克雷扬成像相机。该相机由 427 个像素组成,呈六边形排列,间隔为 0.17 度,每个像素为 3/4 英寸直径的光倍增管模块,配有棒形光导。相机设计具有较大信号线性动态范围、更宽的视场以及较高的光子收集效率,相较于 CANGAROO-II 相机有显著改进。本文详细描述了该相机及多个用于测试其性能的校准实验。
