低能高亮度$\mu^+$束流线的研制

摘要
我们正在研制一条束流线,能够以的效率将标准表面束流的相空间压缩10个数量级。相空间压缩在氦气靶中发生,由三个连续阶段组成:横向(垂直于束流轴)压缩、纵向压缩和重新引射至真空。我们首次观测到了横向压缩,并测量到纵向压缩在2.5 s内以高效率发生。
