束流损失前的设备故障检测

摘要
高功率强子加速器对束流损失比例有严格限制。原则上，一旦高品质束流被调至可接受状态，束流损失应保持稳定。然而在实际运行中，由于过度的束流损失，运行中的机器经常发生跳闸。本文讨论通过监测设备健康状态来识别预示设备问题将导致不可接受束流损失的前兆信号。为此，描述了多种设备和束流信号测量方法。特别地，报告了散裂中子源（SNS）中若干因设备功能退化导致束流损失的运行实例。
