利用 Keck 行星成像仪与表征仪(KPIC),我们获得了绕 HR 8799 运行的四颗行星的高分辨率(R35,000) 波段光谱。我们在 HR 8799 c、d 和 e 的大气中明确探测到 \water{} 和 CO,并在 b 中暂探测定到 CO 与 \water{} 的组合。就角分离与流量比而言,这些是直接成像系外行星中迄今以高光谱分辨率观测到的最具挑战性的目标。我们开发了一个前向建模框架,可在基于似然的方法中同时联合拟合行星与衍射星光的谱,并获得了其有效温度、表面重力、径向速度与自转的后验概率。我们测得 HR 8799 d 的 为 ~km/s,HR 8799 e 为 ~km/s,并对 HR 8799 c 给出 ~km/s 的上限。在对其自转轴倾角的两种不同假设下,我们发现自转速度与伴星质量反相关的暂定证据,这可能表明早期由环行星盘引起的磁制动在使低质量行星减速方面效率较低。
