摘要
我们解决了在即将到来的 LIGO/Virgo/KAGRA 合作观测运行 O4 中,最优识别所有通过引力波辐射探测到的千新星的问题;预计 O4 对双中子星警报的灵敏度约为以往的 倍。除最亮的新事件外,这些新事件的电磁后续观测将需要 米望远镜,而此类望远镜可用时间有限。我们提出了 O4 期间暗能量相机(Dark Energy Camera)的优化观测策略。我们的研究基于 O4 预期的引力波事件模拟和宽先验千新星模拟。我们推导了实际观测条件下事件的探测率。我们以确认千新星并最小化望远镜时间为目标优化策略。对于对应于比 GW170817/AT2017gfo 更暗的千新星的广泛千新星参数,我们发现采用该最优策略时,暗能量相机在下一个 LVK 观测运行(190 Mpc)的双中子星引力波标称探测极限处的电磁对应体发现概率约为 ,较上一观测运行采用的策略提高约 。对于更遥远事件( Mpc),我们达到约 的探测概率,提升约 倍。对于由再现 GW170817/AT2017gfo 观测的蓝成分主导的较亮千新星模型,我们发现可在 330 Mpc 外达到约 的探测概率,提升约 ,同时将后续观测事件所需总望远镜时间减少约 。
