HERA-B μ子探测器前端电子学的设计与运行

摘要

我们为HERA-B μ子系统的大面积正比丝室的阳极丝和阴极垫的读出电子学实现了一种经济有效的设计,基于ASD-08集成电路。为了控制和监测大量的读出通道,我们构建了一个基于飞利浦半导体I2C总线和微控制器的分布式控制系统。迄今为止,我们已经安装了约10800个μ子室和电子学通道。平均单通道噪声占空比小于10**-5,探测器已在高达70 MHz的目标相互作用速率下运行。
