DESAlert:利用暗能量巡天数据实现实时瞬变源后续观测

摘要

暗能量巡天 (DES) 目前正在进行一项观测计划,以前所未有的测光精度对南半球天空的 1/41/4 进行成像。在观测数百万颗暗弱恒星和星系以约束暗能量状态方程参数的过程中,DES 将在五年内获取估计 100 个伽马射线暴 (GRBs) 周围区域的预发现图像。一旦由 Swift 卫星等探测到 GRB,DES 数据将对瞬变天文学界的后续观测极为有用。我们描述了一套最近投入使用的软件套件,该软件持续监听 GRB 活动的自动通知,整理来自 DES 存档数据的有用信息,并将相关数据产品近乎实时地分发给社区。特别重要的是非公开 DES 数据为 GRB 光学对应体的相对测光以及识别潜在 GRB 宿主星系的关键特征(例如测光红移)所提供的机会。我们提供了 DESAlert 软件目前运行的功能细节及其产生的数据产品,并展示了将 DESAlert 应用于几个先前探测到的 GRB 的样本结果。
