摘要
在本白皮书中,我们阐述了增强型 X 射线计时与极化测量(eXTP)任务在约束中子星致密物质方程状态方面的潜力,探索处于地面实验难以直接到达的 regime。通过观测多样化的中子星 population —— 包括孤立天体、X 射线烧毁体以及吸积系统,eXTP 独特的计时、光谱与极化技术组合,使我们能够对compactness、自旋、表面温度、极化信号以及计时 irregularities 进行高精度测量。这些多层面的观测结合理论建模的最新进展,为从中子星的 crust 到 core 的致密物质的性质与相位提供了全面描述的可能性。eXTP 计划由由中国科学院高能物理研究所领导的国际 Consortia 开发,计划于 2030 年初发射。
