摘要
我们致函报告发现 Deneb 是一颗大振幅偏振变量星。从 2022 年 8 月起约 400 天的时间跨度内，Deneb 在 SDSS g'-波段的偏振度通常在 3900 ppm（百万分率）左右。然而，它以数周为时间尺度，不规则地变化了数百 ppm。最大的偏振变化达 2500 ppm，发生在 Abt et al. (2023) 在 TESS 测光数据中识别出的最后一次脉动“恢复”事件之后不久。观测到的偏振——特别是对应于恢复事件的偏振——与其亮度及 H-alpha 光谱之间的关系表明，其机制涉及其星风和/或延伸大气中的密度变化。不能排除脉动产生的较小影响，建议进行进一步研究。
