向Vela分子牙排C区深near红外成像：RCW 36中嵌入式星团

我们报告了向位于Vela分子牙排C云中C18O clump的嵌入式星团的深层near红外（J、H、Ks）图像。该星团至少有约350个成员，半径约0.5 pc。星体表面数密度在中心0.1 pc x 0.1 pc 区域约为3000星 pc−2。这远高于距离太阳约1kpc内大多数年轻星团的数密度。通过与其他嵌入式星团的光度函数和near红外过度分数进行比较，我们估算该星团的年龄约为2-3 Myr。该星团在中心区域显示更亮星体的过度，从而我们得出结论，较质量大的星体位于星团中心。
