暗物质热核超新星点燃

摘要
我们利用224个低红移事件的公开存档数据,研究暗物质(DM)对热核超新星(SNe Ia)的局部环境效应,以期阐明SNe Ia前身星系统。SNe Ia是碳-氧(CO)白矮星(WDs)的爆发,近期已表明其在亚钱德拉塞卡质量下爆炸;然而点燃机制仍未知。近来有研究表明,弱相互作用大质量粒子(WIMPs)与原始黑洞(PBHs)等宏观DM候选者均能够触发点燃。本文中,我们提出一种估算SN Ia事件及附近WDs附近DM密度与速度弥散的方法;我们主张:(i)WIMP点燃极不可能发生,且(ii)以峰值g、宽度的(准)对数正态质量分布分布的PBH形式DM与SN Ia数据、附近WD种群一致,且大致与文献中其他约束相容。
