早型星系的暗物质星盘

宇宙学模拟预测从团簇到星系尺度的暗物质（DM）星盘质量分布具有普遍形式。然而，对于早型星系的DM星盘，仍存显著不足的约束。使用Chandra，我们呈现了一小撷早型星系的温度、密度和质量分布，揭示每种情况下都存在显著的DM。当包含星际质量成分，并允许DM星盘对星系中气体凝聚进入星体而产生的adiabatic响应时，质量分布与普遍分布良好地匹配，Virial质量和浓度与模拟结果一致。然而，仅约有一半，甚至更少的质量位于R_e内可归因于星体，暗示stellar M_*/L_B ~1-5。
