银河星际 halo 中的暗物质与伽马射线

摘要
银河系 halo 中暗物质的本质仍然鲜为人知。迄今为止发现的针对大鲁马星云(LMC)的 microlensing 事件表明，至多约 20% 的 halo 暗物质以 MACHOs(巨型天体致密暗对象)形式存在。暗物质也可能至少部分由冷分子云(主要为 H_2)组成。另一种可能性是 WIMPs(弱相互作用巨质子)构成暗物质，由于 annihilition 过程，他们通过伽马射线信号显示出来。
