暗能量巡天基于光学光变识别红移 0.823 的低质量活动星系核

摘要
我们报告在暗能量巡天(DES)超新星场中红移 星系里低质量 AGN DES J02180430 的识别。我们仅基于跨度超 6 年的 DES 光学宽带光变曲线刻画其长期光学变率,将 DES J02180430 选为 AGN 候选。斯隆数字巡天第四期存档光学光谱显示宽 Mg II 与宽 H 线,确认其宽线 AGN 本质。存档 XMM-Newton X 射线观测暗示内禀硬 X 射线光度 erg s,超出最 X 射线亮星暴星系,支持 AGN 驱动光学变率。基于 SDSS 光谱宽 H,我们估计引力 BH 质量 -(误差仅表 1 统计不确定度),与 OzDES 估计一致,使其成为光学探测中红移 0.4 的最低质量 AGN。我们基于多波长光谱能量分布建模估计宿主星系恒星质量 。DES J02180430 将 亮 AGN 中观测的 - 关系拓展至早于先前工作所探质量更低处。我们的工作展示了在更深巡天中用光学变率识别较高红移低质量 AGN 的可行性,对即将到来的 Vera C.
