摘要
随着我们进入中微子物理的精密测量时代,需要改进的通量源。这些源必须具有明确定义的味成分,且能量处于背景低且截面知识高的范围内。很少有中微子源能满足这些要求。然而,π介子/μ子衰变静止源和同位素衰变静止源符合条件。衰变静止源的理想驱动源是回旋加速器,它们紧凑且相对廉价。本文描述了 DAEdALUS 计划内开发的一种由此类回旋加速器驱动产生衰变静止源的方案。回顾了高精度束流在探索超越标准模型相互作用方面的价值。展示了关于联合 DAEdALUS--Hyper-K 搜索 CP 破坏的新结果,其对混合矩阵参数的误差达到了 4 度至 12 度。
