CURiuos 变量实验 (CURVE)：贫金属球状星团 M56 中的变星

我们 surveyed 了一个以球状星团 M56 (NGC 6779) 为中心的 6.5' x 6.5' 天区以搜寻变星。我们探测到了七颗变星，其中两颗为新证认天体。其中一颗新变星是 RR Lyrae 型星，这是 M56 中发现的第三颗此类恒星。将新观测数据与 RV Tauri 型变星 V6 的旧测光数据进行比较，表明该恒星的周期可能发生了变化。其缓慢且为负的变化率 -0.005+/-0.003 d/yr 与 post-AGB 演化不符，但这可能是 blue-loop 演化和/或周期随机涨落的结果。
