GAIA 光谱仪焦平面上的光度拥挤

摘要
slitless spectrograph 中的光学轨迹叠加在每个星体中都会出现。我们使用对 66 个星光场的光度观测（主要位于银河平面附近）来估计 GAIA RVS 光谱仪焦平面上此类叠加的概率。我们发现，靠近银河平面的亮星 (V<17) 叠加很常见，没有任何光谱是免受淡星轨迹叠加的。大多数叠加星体的光谱类型为 K 型。
