宇宙黎明与再电离:前沿中的天体物理学

摘要

宇宙黎明与再电离时代标志着宇宙中恒星、星系与黑洞种子首次形成以及星系际介质从中性变为电离态的时期。尽管多波长观测取得了实质性进展,这一时期的天体物理过程仍是最不为人所理解的,我们对星系、黑洞与结构形成的现有模型存在很大不确定性。本白皮书概述了当前知识状况以及 2020 年代地基与天基天文设施的预期科学成果。我们随后提出了 2020 年代末至 2030 年代中期新设施的一系列科学目标与目的,这些将实现对再电离时代与宇宙黎明关键天体物理过程的确定性测量。
