地外文明搜寻(SETI)的主要目标是了解银河系中技术先进生命(有机或无机的)的普遍程度。一种途径是寻找技术特征:技术的远程可探测指示物,例如与人工源一致的时间或光谱电磁发射。借助卡尔·G·央斯基甚大阵(VLA)上新的共生开源多模干涉仪簇(COSMIC)数字后端,我们旨在开展比以往更为全面、灵敏和高效的技征搜寻。COSMIC 系统目前已在 VLA 上运行并记录数据,其设计灵活可提供用户请求的模式。本文描述硬件系统设计、当前软件流水线及未来开发计划。
