中介偏振星爆发期间的X射线与光学变率相关性

我们研究了两个短周期激变变星——已确认的中介偏振星CC Scl和中介偏振星候选体FS Aur——在爆发期间光学与X射线流量的演化。我们发现,尽管X射线爆发振幅小于光学爆发振幅,但两个天体的X射线与光学光变曲线均具有良好的相关性。两个天体中X射线与光学爆发振幅之比均接近~0.6。这显著高于在非磁矮新星U Gem爆发期间观测到的比值(仅~0.03)。所得数据还表明,在极低吸积率和极低流量下,X射线与光学流量之间的依赖关系必须显著陡增。CC Scl与FS Aur行为的相似性强烈暗示了FS Aur中白矮星的磁性本质。
