通过光纤与卫星链路连接的光钟国际比较

摘要

光钟提供超精确的频率参考,对国际计量学以及基本物理学测试至关重要。为探讨不同时钟之间的一致性,我们同时测量了来自六个不同国家十个光钟之间的频率比,使用光纤和卫星链路。这一目前为止最大规模的协调比较中,我们呈现了38个光频率比的子集,并评估了它们之间的相关性。其中四个频率比是首次直接测量,其他频率比的不确定性显著低于以前的水平,支持了对第二的重新定义以及光标准用于国际时间尺度的应用。
