拓扑缺陷是否是 300 EeV 宇宙射线的来源？

摘要
我们采用混合矩阵-Monte Carlo 方法模拟由超高能(UHE)粒子和拓扑缺陷发射的辐射引发的宇宙背景辐射级联。我们沿着宇宙距离追踪级联过程，并计算产生的强子、伽马射线和中子的强度。我们将结果与观测到的 300 EeV 及更低能量的宇宙射线强度进行比较，得出结论：拓扑缺陷极不可能是最高能宇宙射线事件的来源。
