我们探讨了质量损失和对流核心超射在经典造父变星演化中的作用。采用包含脉动驱动质量损失配方的恒星演化模型进行计算，发现仅靠质量损失无法解释长期存在的造父变星质量差异问题。然而，质量损失与中等对流核心超射的结合确实提供了一种解决方案，使得造父变星中对流核心超射的量更接近于在其他恒星中发现的值。
