关于3C 279软X射线过量的限制

摘要
我们报告了对3C 279这颗类星体进行的三周每日监测计划，使用RXTE和ROSAT X射线卫星。交叉相关未发现软X射线和硬X射线光度曲线之间的任何时间滞后，该源在观测期间未表现出显著的光谱变率。没有证据支持软X射线过量的存在，99%置信水平下，任何此类成分对总观测亮度(0.1-2 keV 带)的比例上限为25%(< 3 x 10^38 W)。这种比例(但不强度)显著低于在3C 273中观察到的软X射线过量。
